Alexander Gouge
7″ (18.0 cm) Alexander Gouge is specially designed for use in procedures that require manipulating of bone via scooping or removal of particular portions. This gouge features a long slim handle portion that transitions to the gouge blade. This instrument is designed for chisels but more specifically instead of a flat edge it features a rounded edge that allows it to be used to create holes or to scoop out segments of bone.
